The Orange Coast College Transfer Center will be holding a University of California application workshop from 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday..

“The UC application workshop will be beneficial to students because it gives them an overview and allows them to know ahead of time what they’re getting into,” said Janet Valle, an administrative assistant at the Transfer Center.

“When they go to the workshop, the counselors will go through the whole application and help them get ready for the application process,” Valle said. “It just helps the students with the nerves of applying to a UC.”

The students wishing to participate in this workshop will be in good hands, according to Valle.

“The counselors do a good job of going through the whole application. They know what UCs want from students,” Valle said. “This is a great opportunity for students who want to get insight on what the UCs are wanting in the application and where to place that information.”

This workshop is free to all students.

To register for the workshop, visit the Transfer Center Live Virtual Workshop page.
