OCC Science Night

Orange Coast College will be hosting a virtual open house from 4-6 p.m. on Friday to showcase its various science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) divisions.

This will be the first time Science Night will be offered as a virtual event. This event has traditionally been offered as an in-person event on campus, drawing thousands of visitors in past years.

Those interested in a STEM major can learn about the different courses and career paths available for students from OCC professors. Subjects covered will include marine science, engineering, allied health and astronomy.

Attendees will have chances to experience virtual demonstrations like a tour of OCC’s Dennis Kelly Aquarium and a look through telescopes at the OCC Planetarium. The full schedule of events is published on the flyer.

The open house will be streamed on YouTube. A recording of the event will be available on the Orange Coast College YouTube channel after the premiere.
