The Camp hosted the Makers Hive Market on Dec. 11 to a crowd of shoppers. After hosting the event last month, The Camp’s Community Relations Coordinator Cristina Flores knew that this would be a great opportunity for customers to come and holiday shop while supporting small businesses.
“Like a one-stop-shop,” Flores said. “There is a range of jewelry, accessories, plants, candles and home decor that are present at these events at The Camp.”
The variety of shops featured at Makers Hive Market, along with the permanent businesses at The Camp, provided a great opportunity for holiday shopping Saturday.
Holiday shoppers who missed the pop-up event on Saturday can catch the Makers Hive Market and its vendors at the Common Space Brewery in Hawthorne on Dec. 19 from 1-6 p.m.
“We will have some chairs set out but we only have so many,” Flores said. “So you’re welcome to bring your own blankets and chairs.”
Heaters and chairs will be placed around the movie area to provide warmth and seating. Viewers can grab hot chocolate, coffee and other snacks from Black Market Bakery at The Camp to enjoy while watching the movie.
