Americans need to wake-up
Many people are wondering “what’s the big deal with this Tiger Woods story?” Athletes and celebrities cheat on their mates all the time, is Tiger that big?
Tiger Woods is huge for the sport of golf and for sports in general, but that’s not the issue.
Kobe Bryant was not yet the best NBA player when he cheated on his wife a few years ago.
But note that his cheating was secondary to the real issue.
And O.J. Simpson had been relegated to the status of a reality star when he became the story of the decade.
So “hugeness” is not the issue, cheating on the wife is not the issue.
The issue is the sexual pairing of a black man with a white woman in America.
In the 1980s, less than 30 years ago, it was a crime for a black American male to date a white female.
It had sometimes been a death penalty crime for such a relationship.
Now if you seek to be outraged how about getting outraged about something that deserves your indignation.
But I’ll bet you don’t want to talk about how so many black America men were killed over this stupidity.
Every time there is trouble in a black male-white female relationship, white supremacist America overreacts.
The United States is still in denial about its deepest and ugliest taboo.
It’s about time we Americans grew-up and faced our racist demons once and for all. And it would be much better us of our “outrage.”
