Rylee Adair, sophomore libero, digs the ball and sets a new school record during Friday's three set victory over Riverside City College.

Orange Coast College now has a new all-time women’s volleyball dig leader in the record books.

Sophomore libero Rylee Adair notched her 918th career dig as the Pirates swept Riverside City College on Friday in three sets in the Basil H. Peterson Gym.

Entering the match with 908 career digs, Adair broke the school’s previous record of 926 digs set by Sierra Lim in the 2016-2017 season.

In winning the match against Riverside, Coast’s record on the season improved to 16-4 and 7-3 in conference play.

Currently ranked 21st in the state, the Pirates will take the court on Wednesday against Saddleback College and on Friday night against rivals Golden West College.
