Swap meet heat
A 44-year-old woman had trouble breathing at the Orange Coast College Swap Meet on March 16, according to Chief of Campus Safety Jim Rudy.
Costa Mesa Paramedics and Fire Department were dispatched to the Adams Avenue Parking Lot, where the victim was fatigued and disoriented.
She was transported to Hoag Hospital.
Campus Safety responded to a reported theft in the women’s locker room on March 22 at 5:45 p.m., Rudy said.
A female victim reported that she left personal items in a locker on March 14 and when she came back on March 21 the locker was unlocked and appeared to have been rummaged through.
Two Bluetooth speakers worth $100 were reportedly stolen. There are no suspects.
A vehicle vandalism was reported on March 23 during the swap meet, Rudy said.
A woman reported arriving at the Adams Avenue Parking Lot, finding a parking spot and then noticed another vehicle looking for parking.
A man in the other vehicle reportedly yelled that he was going to damage her vehicle.
When the victim returned to her vehicle at 2:15 p.m., both sides of her car were scratched with an unknown object.
No video of the incident was captured and there are no suspects.
