Standing tall on the campus of Orange Coast College, The Frank M. Doyle Arts Pavilion is the campus’s premier location for art exhibitions and installations.
Neighboring Starbucks, the Arts Pavilion houses art exhibitions and holds events in association with other educational departments on campus.
“In this first year of my tenure as the new director at The Doyle, my goal has been to raise its profile on the campus and in the surrounding community,” Tyler Stallings, director of the Arts Pavilion said. “One of the main ways I’ve tried to do this on campus is by having more cross-departmental and cross-divisional collaborations during exhibitions.”
In the latest exhibition, “Stargazers: Intersections of Contemporary Art and Astronomy,” Stallings curated the exhibition alongside the new Planetarium and the Mathematics and Science divisions on campus. It has also partnered with the Language department, Technology division, the Multicultural Center and the Visual and Performing Arts division for various events.
With a friendly staff and a drive to connect people with art and various concepts, the Arts Pavilion is a place for anyone to go and stroll around art or get further involved through the events that are thrown within every exhibition.
