The Orange Coast College library will be host to after-hour student services throughout the fall semester.

Offices such as Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, Counseling and Student Equity will be using the Library on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. after Watson Hall closes.

“We moved our night services to the Library to create a one-stop service to many students who utilize Library services and are attending classes in the western side of the campus,” Vice President of Student Services Madjid Niroumand said.

While the location is new, this isn’t the first time extended services have been offered past traditional hours. The same services had been held in Watson Hall until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays as well.

Niroumand said the move was made to ease the access for OCC students to the programs they use the most.
